Job summary

J&P Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the property is safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and staff. The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping with responsibilities to respond to service requests and support safety protocols.

The position requires problem-solving, attention to detail, and timely repairs, with duties including room readiness and general upkeep across guest areas and internal spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous maintenance or facilities experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, and general construction.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs to guest rooms, common areas, and facility systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance problems and complete repairs using hand tools, power tools, or testing equipment.
• Inspect and maintain PTAC units, appliances, lighting, locks, and basic fixtures.
• Complete service requests and report unresolved issues to the General Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of maintenance workspaces and storage areas.
