Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport in Herndon, VA seeks a General Maintenance professional to assist in engineering operations, including upkeep of hotel assets, grounds, and equipment. You will work with the Chief Engineer on preventive maintenance, inspections, and capital expenditures while ensuring guest satisfaction with prompt service.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED, 2+ years of maintenance experience, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; CPO and appliance repair certification are desirable or obtainable.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering operations and maintenance of hotel property, equipment, and grounds.
• Support preventive maintenance, inspections, and capital expenditures under the Chief Engineer.
• Provide friendly guest service and respond to guest requests related to maintenance and common areas.
• Identify maintenance issues and propose solutions in collaboration with management.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
