Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport in Herndon, VA is seeking a General Maintenance professional to support engineering operations, perform preventive maintenance, and repair hotel property and equipment. You will follow SOPs, assist guests, and collaborate with the Chief Engineer and other departments to ensure a safe, well-maintained property and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property assets and assist the Chief Engineer with preventive maintenance, inspections, and capital expenditures.
• Assist guests by providing service, knowledge of hotel property, guest room repairs and common area maintenance.
• Identify concerns and provide maintenance solutions with appropriate managers.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work with the Chief Engineer to execute engineering SOPs.
• Collaborate with all departments and act as a team player to meet guest needs.
• Work safely with PPE and follow hotel emergency procedures; maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Plan, organize and prioritize work while attending required department and hotel meetings.
