Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Florida hotels in top condition and guest rooms in excellent repair. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and routine cleaning as part of a team dedicated to delivering a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

You will follow Green Shield Binder procedures, document tasks, and coordinate with management to complete work promptly. Strong customer service and safety awareness are essential in this role.

Qualifications

Requires HS diploma or GED; related maintenance experience helpful.
Ability to follow safety rules and company procedures.
Strong communication and guest-service orientation.

Responsibilities

Ensure all property equipment operates reliably.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
Respond to guest requests and maintenance work orders promptly.
Document repairs and inspections as required by Green Shield Binder.
Maintain organized maintenance areas and inventory of tools.
Assist with safety inspections and compliance with ESA policies.
