Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure guest rooms are in good repair and property equipment operates reliably. The role emphasizes safety, record-keeping, and timely completion of tasks per Green Shield Binder and management direction.

The job requires performing cleaning and maintenance duties, handling work orders, and coordinating with outside vendors when needed to uphold ESA standards across the property.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and follow safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Must read and write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for measurements and cost estimates.
• Ability to interact professionally with guests, associates and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure property equipment is functioning and premises are maintained in pristine condition.
• Respond to guest requests with follow-through per company guidelines.
• Perform out-of-room cleaning and maintenance tasks as per Green Shield Binder.
• Complete repairs on work orders and perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Maintain records per Green Shield Binder and safety standards.
• Follow Green Shield Schedule and SOPs to complete tasks timely.
• Keep maintenance areas organized and tools accounted for.
• Assist with emergencies and coordinate with management.
