Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep guest rooms and property in excellent repair, ensuring safety and comfort for guests and staff. The role requires proactive maintenance, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision to meet company standards.

You will perform preventative maintenance inspections, respond to work orders, manage tools and inventory, and coordinate with outside vendors when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures.
• Basic math for measurements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment and premises to company standards.
• Performs repairs per work orders in a timely, professional manner.
• Responds to guest requests with diligent follow-through.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections as outlined in policies.
• Maintains organized tool inventory and work area; coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Assists with snow/ice removal and building exterior maintenance when applicable.
