Saul Company Hospitality Group at Homewood Suites Arlington is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support engineering operations, perform preventive maintenance, repair hotel property and equipment, and help protect assets while upholding our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction. Required: High School diploma or GED; 2+ years of maintenance experience; drywall repair experience; ability to lift up to 100 pounds; availability for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Drywall repair experience is required.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.
• Availability for evening shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains property assets and supports the Chief Engineer in preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections and capital expenditures.
• Assists guests by addressing maintenance-related requests with a high level of service.
• Identifies concerns and provides maintenance solutions with appropriate managers.
• Follows standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Collaborates with other departments to meet guest needs and complete duties.
• Keeps work area clean and safe, uses PPE, and adheres to procedures.
• Plans, organizes and prioritizes tasks as directed by the Chief Engineer.
