B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group's Springhill Suites Dulles is seeking a Maintenance/Engineering Assistant to support maintenance, grounds, and equipment repairs while protecting hotel assets and guest satisfaction.

Under the Chief Engineer, you’ll learn preventive maintenance, assist with inspections, and respond to guest requests. A strong team player with a safety mindset is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CPO and appliance repair certification is desired, or ability to obtain certification.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds regularly.
• Must be available at least one day on the weekend (AM/PM).

Responsibilities

• Maintain property assets and assist Chief Engineer with preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and capital expenditures.
• Assist guests by providing friendly, high-level service and knowledge of hotel property and guest room repairs.
• Identify maintenance concerns and propose solutions with managers.
• Follow SOPs and collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all regulatory procedures.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work as directed by the Chief Engineer.
