Job summary

B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Springhill Suites Dulles to support engineering operations. You will assist in preventive maintenance, repairs to hotel assets, and safety, while delivering high guest service and adhering to SOPs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and 2+ years of maintenance experience; certification (CPO) is a plus. Weekend availability is required in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CPO/certification desired or obtainable based on property needs.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds regularly.
• Must be available at least one day on the weekend, AM or PM.

Responsibilities

• Engineering: Maintain property assets and assist Chief Engineer with preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Guest service: Respond to guest requests with friendly, high-quality service.
• Identify concerns and provide maintenance solutions to protect assets and operations.
• Follow SOPs and cooperate with the Chief Engineer to execute tasks.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs and complete duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and use required PPE.
• Plan and organize work to meet attendance and departmental standards.
