Job summary

The Homewood Suites Arlington in Virginia is seeking a dedicated maintenance professional to assist in engineering operations, including preventive maintenance, repairs to hotel property, and asset protection. You will help ensure guest comfort and property performance with the support of the Chief Engineer.

Responsibilities include learning preventive maintenance, responding to equipment issues, and ensuring safety standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; CPO certification is desirable.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a hotel or similar setting.
• Drywall repair experience required.
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 100 pounds; evening/weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining hotel property assets and equipment.
• Support Chief Engineer with preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Respond to guest requests related to maintenance in a friendly, timely manner.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
