Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a full-time Maintenance Engineer for the Houston property. You will service and repair hotel mechanical and electrical systems, perform scheduled preventative maintenance, and maintain pool areas and building exteriors.

The role requires strong multi-trade skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work with a team to keep the hotel running smoothly. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, basic carpentry, plumbing, drywalling, and painting while

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades across electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and respond appropriately.
• Skilled in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing and landscaping.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Proficient with basic hand and electric tools; read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical or electrical system malfunctions hotel-wide.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule (room care and equipment).
• Maintains pool and chemical levels; logs maintenance requests.
• Upkeeps exterior and curb appeal including lawn care and painting.
• Adheres to company policies and safety procedures; reports unsafe conditions.
• Assists other engineering staff and performs related duties as needed.
