Job summary

Hilton BWI Baltimore is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support hotel engineering and maintenance. The role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and guest room equipment, with a focus on minimizing downtime and proactive problem solving.

You’ll perform routine inspections, install fixtures, and help keep the building secure and well-maintained. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of trade-related training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Trade-related training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and building maintenance

Responsibilities

• Repair electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment with minimum downtime
• Install and replace light fixtures and bulbs
• Conduct scheduled inspections and fix equipment malfunctions
• Ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals and hazardous materials, with accurate reporting
• Secure the building: monitor security systems, repair locks, and maintain keys
