Job summary

LBA Hospitality in Baltimore is seeking a maintenance technician to support the General Manager in operating the hotel’s facilities. The role focuses on repairs and preventative maintenance to meet quality standards and maintain guest satisfaction.

You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems, supervise a small team, train staff, respond to work orders promptly, and uphold safety guidelines while delivering friendly, professional service to guests and associates

Qualifications

• Two years as a maintenance technician or similar position.
• HVAC and Pool Maintenance certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and defects in mechanical and similar equipment and to determine adequate corrective measures.
• Perform general minor repairs to in house plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC systems.
• Respond to work orders in a timely manner.
• Train all maintenance staff and other designated associates in the responsibilities and safety.
• Work with associates regarding their role in the upkeep, safety and security of the property.
