Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance or repair experience.
• High school diploma or related vocational training.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, building management programmes and reporting tools (HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, Inncom).
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge; preventative maintenance procedures.
• CPO certification would be ideal if hotel has a pool.
• Fitness – able to stand and move around for the shift.
• Compliance – fluent in local language and aware of food handling/alcohol laws.
• Great communication skills, warm and friendly to guests.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish items in guest rooms.
• Organise supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day.
• Follow safety guidelines and report incidents or unsafe equipment to supervisor.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of indoor/outdoor areas (car park, pool).
• Follow preventative maintenance calendar to keep systems running smoothly.
• Be a friendly face and helping hand to our guests.
• Inform supervisor about low running supplies and updates.
