Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Representative in Atlanta to ensure hotel systems run smoothly and guest areas remain well-maintained. You will handle repairs, organize supplies, and uphold safety standards while assisting guests and collaborating with the team.

The role requires at least one year of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or vocational training, and familiarity with building management tools. A pool operator license is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance or repair experience.
• High school diploma or related vocational training.
• Familiarity with building management programs and reporting tools.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics and preventative maintenance procedures.
• CPO certification preferred if hotel has a pool.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and on feet most of the day.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with local laws and hotel policies.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish guest rooms.
• Organise supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day.
• Maintain high safety standards and report incidents or unsafe conditions.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of indoor and outdoor areas like car park and pool.
• Follow preventative maintenance calendar to keep systems running efficiently.
• Be friendly and helpful to guests and communicate with supervisors.
