Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Scottsdale seeks a maintenance engineer to oversee the preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems across the hotel, FF&E, and grounds. This is a full-time role requiring flexibility for a 24/7 operation.

You will work with the engineering team to ensure safety, reliability, and efficient operation of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunction in mechanical or electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule basis.
• Maintains the hotel pool, exterior areas, and grounds as part of general upkeep.
• Reports unsafe conditions to supervisor and follows safety procedures.
• Assists other Engineering personnel as needed.
