Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on the hotel's mechanical and electrical systems. You will service HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building systems to ensure a safe, clean and functional property.

Responsibilities include pool maintenance, exterior upkeep, and following all safety procedures. A high school diploma and basic maintenance skills are required; training and growth within a hospitality environment

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Must recognize safety hazards and security problems in the hotel.
• Willingness to comply with hotel policies including safety, security and grooming.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunction in mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Maintains pool by adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters, logging maintenance requests.
• Maintains building exterior and curb appeal (lawn care, painting, gardening).
• Adheres to company policies and safety procedures.
