Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Engineer at a Scottsdale area property. The engineer will handle preventative and repair work on mechanical/electrical systems and oversee the hotel’s physical plant, FF&E, grounds, and pool.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, with the ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance in a 24/7 hotel environment. Safety and professional appearance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Maintains knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry trades.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance on schedule (room care).
• Service pool and maintain chemical levels and filters.
• Maintain exterior and curb appeal (lawn, painting, landscaping).
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Assist other engineering staff and perform related duties as needed.
