Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to care for the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, pool, and outdoor areas. Work includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring a safe, well-maintained property.

The role requires knowledge across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry, with adherence to safety protocols and company policies. This on-site position supports a 24/7 hospitality operation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and security problems in the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical hotel systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing).
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule (e.g., room care).
• Maintains pool and grounds; records logs and maintenance requests.
• Assists other engineering personnel as needed.
• Follows safety, security, and emergency procedures.
