Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Las Vegas is seeking aMaintenance Technician to maintain and repair mechanical/electrical systems, FF&E, and the property's grounds. You will handle preventive maintenance and support hotel operations to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical issues, servicing the pool, and maintaining building exteriors along with adhering to safety policies in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and follow procedures.
• Willing to comply with hotel policies including appearance and safety.
• Skilled in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing and landscaping.
• Able to troubleshoot routine mechanical/electrical malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Serves the hotel pool, adjusts chemicals and cleans filters.
• Maintains exterior and curb appeal (lawn, painting, gardening).
• Adheres to company policies and safety procedures.
• Follows safety and security rules and emergency procedures.
• Reports unsafe conditions and accidents to supervisor.
• Maintains neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Assists other engineering personnel as needed.
