Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance position in Dallas to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems. The role covers general upkeep of the property, FF&E, pools, and exterior grounds.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical issues, conducting scheduled maintenance, and adhering to safety procedures to ensure a safe, clean environment for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all maintenance trades including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Must recognize potential safety hazards and security problems in the hotel and act accordingly.
• Willingness to comply with hotel policies including safety, grooming and emergency procedures.
• Proficient in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing and landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Maintains the pool by adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters; completes maintenance logs.
• Maintains the building exterior and curb appeal (lawn care, painting, gardening).
• Follows safety and security procedures and rules; reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
