Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance across guest rooms and public areas. The role focuses on safety, sustainability, and delivering a warm guest experience while addressing repair needs promptly.

Responsibilities include inspections, electrical and plumbing tasks, HVAC pump maintenance, and keeping maintenance records. Candidates should have a High School diploma and related training or experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and trade school coursework preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, bulbs and fixtures.
• Repair furniture and fixtures.
• Install, replace and program televisions.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and logs.
• Perform work according to local, state, and Federal codes.
• Support guest satisfaction and assist during peak periods as needed.
