Job summary

The Westin Minneapolis, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, is hiring a maintenance professional to uphold building systems and the lobby’s historic integrity, ensuring guest safety and comfort across all hotel operations.

You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect electrical and HVAC systems, repair plumbing and carpentry, service the pool, maintain exterior curb appeal, and respond courteously to guest questions. Prior trades experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry knowledge or certification.
• Hotel or building maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and report work orders.
• Check electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems; perform minor repairs.
• Maintain pool, exterior areas, and guest room furnishings.
• Address guest questions and maintain safety and compliance.
