Job summary

The Westin Cleveland, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Facilities Maintenance professional to uphold building systems and guest safety at a landmark downtown hotel. You will perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and room care while ensuring energy efficiency and adherence to hotel standards.

Ideal candidates have vocational training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry, with hotel maintenance experience preferred and the ability to lift 25–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry experience in building trades.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders to maintain hotel quality.
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks (e.g., room care).
• Inspect electrical systems and perform minor repairs or replacements.
• Maintain pool facilities and environmental cleanliness as required.
• Assist with building exterior maintenance and refurbish furniture in guest rooms.
