Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for The Westin Waltham Boston to uphold building systems and the building envelope, ensuring guest safety and energy efficiency. You will conduct preventive maintenance, handle work orders, and support safety programs in line with SOPs.

Qualifications

Vocational schooling, military training, certification and/or experience in building related trades (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt to varying maintenance tasks and schedules.

Responsibilities

Maintain building systems and the building envelope to ensure safety of guests and staff.
Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders (ceiling tiles, light bulbs, etc.).
Inspect and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing and related equipment.
Maintain pool and other hotel facilities; ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
Respond courteously to guest questions and requests; assist with energy efficiency measures.
