Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts at Westin BWI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold building systems and the building envelope, ensuring guest safety and comfort. You will follow preventative maintenance programs, SOPs, and the company culture while helping keep energy use efficient.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, inspecting electrical and HVAC systems, minor repairs, pool maintenance, and exterior upkeep. Strong communication and physical ability are required.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling or military training in building trades.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and communicate progress.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing or Carpentry experience in building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance and complete work orders to maintain hotel quality.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on electrical, HVAC, lighting and related systems.
• Repair or replace hotel equipment, fixtures and small appliances as needed.
• Service the pool, outdoor areas, and maintain exterior curb appeal.
• Move furniture, refurbish rooms, and respond to guest questions promptly.
• Adhere to attendance rules and safety guidelines at all times.
