Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a diligent housekeeping associate to maintain guest rooms and public areas at the Westin in downtown Minneapolis. You will ensure a safe, clean experience for guests, colleagues, and vendors, adhering to established cleaning standards and schedules.

The role requires teamwork, attentiveness to details, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. We offer medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company matching, hotel discounts, and ongoing opportunities

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to pitch in and help coworkers as a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and proper use of equipment.
• Ability to push/pull equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Adapt communication to diverse audiences and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and product usage.
• Strip beds, change linens; may lift up to 50 lbs for bedding.
• Dust furniture, pictures, ledges and shelves.
• Vacuum and empty trash throughout the room.
• Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
• Sign for room keys, restock and restain room readiness.
• Attend regularly and perform any other duties as assigned.
