Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking an Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance to ensure the hotel meets quality and sustainability standards while delivering warm guest service. You will inspect rooms, repair and install items, and help maintain safety and compliance.

The role includes scheduling flexibility and potential to support guest satisfaction goals. A background in maintenance is required, with opportunities for growth within HHM Hotels.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and Trade school course work in related field preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, bulbs and fixtures.
• Repair furniture.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Perform work to local, state and Federal codes.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing guest satisfaction.
