Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a dedicated Maintenance Engineer for our Texas hotel. You will oversee preventative maintenance and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring safe, efficient operations around the clock.

Responsibilities include pool care, exterior upkeep, and collaboration with the engineering team to maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction. A high school diploma and hands-on skills are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all maintenance trades including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to communicate with guests and team members in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical/electrical systems across the hotel (HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Services the hotel pool, including adjusting chemicals and logging service requests.
• Maintains exterior and curb appeal (grounds, painting, landscaping).
• Assists other engineering staff as needed.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards.
