Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Dallas, TX is seeking a full-time engineer responsible for preventative and repair work on the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, and for general maintenance of the property and FF&E.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing and other equipment, perform scheduled maintenance, service the pool, maintain exterior areas, and ensure safety and compliance with company policies while supporting other engineering staff.

Qualifications

Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical/electrical malfunctions.
Willingness to follow safety procedures and hotel policies.
High school diploma preferred.
Ability to listen, read and write English clearly.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical or electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing) throughout the hotel.
Performs preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis.
Service the pool and adjust chemicals; complete maintenance logs.
Maintain exterior curb appeal (lawn care, painting, landscaping).
Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
Report unsafe conditions, accidents, and property damage to supervisor.
Assist other engineering personnel and perform related duties as requested.
