Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to manage preventative and repair work across mechanical, electrical, and building systems at the Dallas-area property.

You will work on HVAC, plumbing, pool equipment, and general facilities, with safety as a priority, contributing to a clean, safe, and well-maintained hotel environment for guests and associates.

This full-time role requires flexibility to cover shifts and engage with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Able to recognize safety hazards and follow procedures.
• Willing to comply with hotel policies, grooming, safety and security rules.
• Proficient in multiple trades such as HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing and landscaping.
• Able to troubleshoot routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems hotel-wide.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Maintains pool equipment, chemicals and filtration; completes logs.
• Maintains exterior and curb appeal (lawn, painting, landscaping).
• Follows safety and security procedures and uses protective equipment.
• Reports unsafe conditions and accidents to supervisor.
• Assists other engineering personnel and performs related duties as needed.
