Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking to fill a kitchen prep role at our Gulf Shores area properties. You will prepare culinary delights, maintain high presentation and quality, and ensure sanitary work environments. The position covers pantry, fry stations, and related kitchen prep duties.

At least a high school diploma is expected, with culinary training preferred. Minimum 3–6 months in a food service setting; English proficiency required.

Qualifikationen

• High school education or equivalent; culinary certificate or degree preferred.
• 3–6 months in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• Strong knowledge of operating industrial sized ovens and cooking ranges.
• Knowledge of preparing different types of cuisines, relishes, soups and salads.
• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling; safety and sanitation knowledge.
• Able to read, speak and understand English.

Aufgaben

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production standards.
• Start food items ahead of time without over-preparing.
• Assemble multiple orders accurately.
• Rotate perishables and maintain proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use and keep buffet stocked.
• Return unused items to storage with proper dating.
• Assist in controlling food cost and reducing waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
