Qualifications

• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality and presentation.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

• Food handler certification as required by local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
• Set up and maintain an organized workstation before, during, and after service.
• Ensure food is prepared and served accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and communicate inventory or supply needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient service.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Maintain open communication with the Hotel Manager regarding issues, priorities, and opportunities for improvement.
