Qualified candidates have an Associate's degree in culinary arts or related experience, strong food prep knowledge, and a Safe Serve/Food Handler certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in culinary arts or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Strong knowledge of pantry items, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.
• Ability to use cooking metrics and conversion methods.
• Experience in high-paced kitchen environments.
• Safe Serve/Food Handler’s certification required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares ingredients for the shift and sets up the station.
• Operates cooking station safely and efficiently.
• Prepares items according to recipes and standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and adheres to sanitation standards.
• Handles safe food storage and ordering requisitions as needed.
• Assists in breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and room service.
