Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Bozeman is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare breakfast and dinner items, assist with room service and banquet events, and maintain high standards in food quality and safety.

Join a close-knit back-of-house team, work with seasoned chefs, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience for guests. Flexibility for mornings/evenings and a strong commitment to cleanliness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year line cook or kitchen experience in high-volume environment.
• Current SERV Safe Food Handler certification or within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to read and execute standardized recipes and plating guides.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to stand 8+ hours, lift up to 50 lbs, work in hot kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to brand standards and recipes for breakfast, dinner, room service, and banquet functions.
• Set up and break down stations (sauté, grill, fry, pantry) before and after each service.
• Execute tickets during service in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain proper food safety, labeling, dating, and temperature logs per ServSafe and local health dept requirements.
• Keep work area clean and organized; assist with deep-cleaning as needed.
• Assist with inventory and cost control by minimizing waste and rotating stock.
• Support banquet and catering events with plated meals, buffets, and breaks.
• Collaborate with kitchen and dining room teams; communicate professionally during busy periods.
• Adhere to brand standards, policies, and safety procedures.
