Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a diligent dishwasher to support cooks and servers by transporting and cleaning utensils and service ware for our Durham property near Duke University. This role also covers general cleaning of the dining areas and back-of-house spaces to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

We value strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel setting with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler Card required.
• Knowledge of service ware to support guest experience.
• Ability to operate commercial dish machines per standards.
• Ability to understand and apply product labeling instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware promptly for dish or pot washing.
• Wash ware and return it to storage per standards.
• Keep dish machine clean and filled with water.
• Clean kettles, skillets, pots and pans promptly.
• Perform general cleaning tasks per supervisor guidance.
• Maintain clean floors and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Assist other kitchen personnel as needed.
