Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher to support cooks and service staff. You will handle dishware, assist with general cleaning, and contribute to a safe, organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, maintaining cleanliness, and following health standards while supporting the team during high-activity shifts. Prior food-handling basics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it for guest experience.
• Ability to operate a commercial kitchen dish machine per standards.
• Ability to read and follow product labeling instructions for safe use.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware quickly and run through dish machine correctly.
• Wash ware and return to storage per hotel standards.
• Clean kettles, pots, pans promptly for cooks' use.
• Perform routine cleaning using approved products.
• Maintain clean floors and prevent slip hazards.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed.
