Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to support cooks, bus persons and servers by providing clean utensils and service ware. The role involves cleaning kitchen equipment, maintaining health standards, and adhering to safety procedures in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities include sorting soiled ware, washing, keeping the dish area organized, and reporting hazards or accidents.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain same to compliment guest experience.
• Ability to operate commercial kitchen dish machine in accordance with hotel and health department standards.
• Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processes within the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware for the dish machine to process.
• Wash all ware quickly and replace in storage areas as designated; physical strength required.
• Keep the dish machine clean and filled with water per hotel standards.
• Clean kettles, pots and pans promptly so cooks can work efficiently.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products while following supervisor instructions.
• Clean and dry floors to prevent slip/fall accidents.
• Separate linen from other debris.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures and rules.
• Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per team member handbook.
• Assist other kitchen personnel as needed.
