Job summary

Intercontinental St. Paul Riverfront is seeking a Kitchen Steward to maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and ensure the culinary team has the equipment and supplies needed for service. This hourly, non-exempt role supports a smooth operation in a fast-paced hotel kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing equipment, keeping spaces organized, managing waste, and assisting with setup and cleanup across kitchen areas. Union benefits and PTO accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential kitchen tasks with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move in hot environments.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy cookware and supplies as needed.
• Ability to follow safety and OSHA guidelines in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize pots, pans, kettles, skillets and other kitchen equipment.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized and stocked for service.
• Monitor waste, sort trash, and assist with setup and cleanup.
• Support a safe, sanitary kitchen environment across all areas.
