Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts, Inc. seeks a dedicated Steward to uphold spotless, safe kitchen operations and support our culinary team. In this role you will maintain BOH sanitation, operate dishwashing equipment, and organize all cleaned items, ensuring readiness for service across multiple concepts.

Responsibilities include restocking, assisting with cleaning tasks, and adhering to food safety regulations. You will communicate professionally with colleagues and help with banquet events as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-concept kitchen.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dishwashing, and back-of-house areas.
• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of all cleaned items.
• Support kitchen operations by restocking supplies and assisting with basic cleaning tasks.
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Clean floors, drains, walls, and equipment according to sanitation standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Assist with banquet and event breakdown, including equipment cleaning and storage.
• Maintain positive and professional communication with culinary and service teams.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
