Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a hospitality-focused culinary team member to prepare and portion food for guests and hotel clients. You will ensure consistent quality, manage prep for multiple orders, and help maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen environment.

The role requires basic English, training in food handling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. Previous culinary exposure is preferred and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience; culinary certificate or degree preferred.
• 3-6 months in a food/beverage services environment.
• Knowledge of operating industrial sized ovens and cooking ranges.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes, records, production and portion standards.
• Start food items ahead of time and ensure not to exceed estimated needs.
• Assemble multiple orders accurately and efficiently.
• Rotate perishables, check pars, shortages and keep buffet stocked.
• Return unused food items to storage and date/cover perishables.
• Assist in correcting food cost problems and controlling waste.
