Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Cook to support our Food & Beverage team in a hotel setting. You will prepare, season, and cook food for guests and events while maintaining quality, presentation, safety, and sanitation standards.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in precise preparation, and contributes to a clean, guest-focused operation. Employment is full-time, hourly, with flexible scheduling across shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential kitchen duties safely, accurately, and consistently.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, portioning, and kitchen sanitation preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, associates, and leaders.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, American money, weights, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare soups, salads, gravies, sauces, desserts, casseroles, breads, rolls, pastries, meats, fish, vegetables, and other menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Operate ovens, broilers, grills, roasters, steam kettles, and other kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Measure, mix, bake, roast, broil, steam, cut, trim, season, and plate food items to meet menu specifications.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for service throughout the shift and fully clean at the end of each shift.
• Follow sanitation procedures, food safety practices, and precautions to help prevent foodborne illness.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work as assigned each shift.
