Job summary

LBA Hospitality is hiring for a Cook to join our on-site dining team. The Cook will prepare and plate menu items, ensure recipe integrity, and maintain safe, clean work areas in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

This role requires the ability to follow standardized recipes, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with teammates to deliver a high-quality guest experience. On-site shifts, with some weekends and holidays, may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking from standardized recipes preferred.
• Hotel/restaurant or retail food-service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree is a plus.
• Food-handler certification preferred at hire.
• Ability to follow recipes, maintain logs, manage priorities and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, portion, and present menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain stock levels, complete freezer pulls, and prep the line for each shift.
• Follow all food-safety requirements for handling, cooking, cooling, holding, labeling, and storing food.
• Monitor food temperatures and complete required safety and production logs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and proper storage of products.
• Minimize food waste and follow established cost-control guidelines.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, storage rooms, refrigerators, and equipment.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including restocking for the next shift.
• Provide courteous service and respond professionally to guest questions or concerns.
• Follow company safety, security, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
• Perform other related duties within the associate’s training and capabilities.
