Job summary

Azul Hospitality is seeking an experienced kitchen professional to prepare all food items for hotel outlets at Poseidon Del Mar, Del Mar, CA. Follow standardized recipes, maintain sanitation, and ensure quality and timely execution in a high-volume setting.

You will set up mise en place, operate grills and fryers, monitor temperatures, and uphold safety standards while working as part of a collaborative culinary team.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Minimum 2 years cooking experience, preferably high volume
• Food Handlers certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for hotel outlets according to recipes.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes using kitchen equipment.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, or griddles.
• Set up station with predetermined mise en place to service all functions.
• Adjust thermostat controls to regulate oven and equipment temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in work areas.
• Verify that prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements.
• All other duties assigned by manager or supervisor.
