Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality's Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale seeks a Cook for the hotel's Employee Cafeteria. You will be integral to delivering distinctive culinary experiences for guests, reporting to the Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen.

This role requires 1-2 years of banquet/restaurant kitchen experience, ability to work flexible hours, stand long periods, and maintain sanitation. CoralTree offers comprehensive benefits and a culture that values service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a high-level banquet or restaurant kitchen.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly during service.
• Prepare menu items following recipes and yield guide.
• Inspect cleanliness and readiness of tools and equipment.
• Breakdown workstation and complete closing duties.
• Assist with inventories and Banquet plating as assigned.
