Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality is seeking a Pelican Landing Cook II to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team in Fort Lauderdale. You will be integral in creating distinctive culinary experiences and supporting a high-volume kitchen with a passion for service.

Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will prepare and cook per recipes and standards, maintain logs, and ensure safety and quality. The role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a commitment to hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of related work experience.
• Must have a technical, trade or vocational school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support your team to reach common goals.
• Prepare special meals or substitute items; regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Maintain food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating employees; serve as a role model.
• Adhere to departmental policies, safety procedures, and protect company assets.
