Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort by CoralTree Hospitality Group in Fort Lauderdale seeks a seasoned Pelican Landing Cook I to join our culinary team. You will support high-volume service and contribute to distinctive guest experiences through skilled food preparation and teamwork.

Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will handle cooking tasks, plate presentations, and food safety. The role requires a passion for cuisine, strong reliability, and readiness to thrive in a luxury resort environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience in a kitchen or culinary environment.
• Technical or vocational school degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook foods following recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Ensure proper portions and food garnish; maintain food logs.
• Communicate with the Chef and service staff during busy periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area and equipment.
