Job summary

Encore is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to manage property-level IT operations, networks, and client-facing services. You will maintain equipment, support events, and ensure security and smooth operation in a hotel/convention center environment.

You will troubleshoot, document network layouts, coordinate with ISPs and hotel IT, and mentor onsite technicians while delivering outstanding service to guests and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years field experience in internet services support required.
• 2-3 years customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Familiarity with internet services, bandwidth, IP wired and wireless networks, computer hardware and software, and webcasting.
• Certifications: CompTIA, Cisco CCENT/CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/Wireless specialties or equivalent.
• Technical level 300 Certified; location must certify within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage setup, operation and breakdown of AV and internet equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Ensure network readiness, monitor performance and document layouts and ports.
• Plan and execute events with high levels of customer service.
• Forecast equipment needs and assist with procurement and inventory management.
• Assist with troubleshooting back-office IT issues and mentor technicians.
• Deliver exceptional service and maintain client relationships on-site.
