Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a skilled IT Operations and Network Manager to lead area-level Internet services, network readiness, and client-facing support across multiple hotels. You will work under senior management to plan events, configure equipment, and ensure top-tier service for clients and internal teams.

You will also mentor technicians, collaborate with the NOC and area managers, and assist with staffing across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Computer Science or commensurate experience.
• 5+ years in hospitality industry in a technical role.
• 3+ years of field experience in internet services support.
• 1+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Understand technical concepts and explain to non-technical buyers.
• Familiarity with Internet services, bandwidth, IP networks and webcasting.
• Certifications: CCENT/CCNA/CCDA/CCNP and/or wireless specialties.
• Cisco IOS and hardware experience preferred.
• Experience with HP/Aruba, Ruckus, Meraki and other wireless solutions.
• Experience with Cisco TACACS, DNA/Prime/WCS, Solarwinds.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT operation, network and client-facing services at the area level.
• Maintain equipment and infrastructure, position and sell the solution, execute events.
• Provide outstanding internal and external customer service.
• Plan and execute event requirements with high levels of service.
• Setup, configure and test supplied network equipment and cabling per standards.
• Create network access codes, guides and troubleshoot client devices.
• Forecast inventory and assist procurement of equipment; manage orders and returns.
• Meet with the client post event and report bandwidth/device usage.
• Lead and mentor technicians; train local team members.
• Collaborate with Area Internet Services Managers on coverage and NOC tickets.
• Assist Workforce Manager with shift assignments for event support.
