Job summary

Encore Global's Internet Services Manager oversees wired and wireless networks for live events at venues, ensuring client satisfaction and seamless operation. The role coordinates with hotel IT and regional IS management while leading network setup, monitoring, and post-event reporting.

The position requires a BS in CS (or equivalent) and 3–5 years in hospitality tech with 3+ years in internet services support; Cisco/CompTIA certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Computer Science or commensurate experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry in a technical role.
• 3+ years of field experience in internet services support.
• Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical buyers.
• Familiarity with Internet services, bandwidth, IP wired/wireless networks.
• Networking certifications from Cisco, CompTIA are an advantage.
• Within 1 year, achieve Computer Level 1 Certification (C1) per Encore Technical Skillset Matrix.

Responsibilities

• Ensure well-executed events through accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced network equipment.
• Monitor network infrastructure and maintain equipment in working order; create documentation.
• Establish relationships with ISP/ hotel IT to ensure high service levels.
• Manage network configurations and coordinate changes with NOC team.
• Provide proactive and reactive technical support during events.
• Plan and execute event requirements with top-tier customer service.
• Set up, configure, test and operate all network equipment and related devices.
• Operate video conferencing and webcasting equipment.
• Create network access guides and troubleshoot client devices.
• Forecast inventory and assist procurement; manage equipment lifecycle.
• Provide post-event reporting on bandwidth and utilization.
